HIKING TRAILS

Bayview Trail
Varying distances: strenuous.  The trailhead is located across from Inspiration Point in the Bayview Compound.  A wilderness permit is needed.
Cascade Creek Fall Trail

1 mile: easy.  The trailhead is located across from Inspiration Point in the Bayview Compound.  A wilderness permit is needed.

Eagle Falls Trail

Varying distances: moderate/strenuous.  The trailhead is located to the right of Eagle Falls picnic area.  A wilderness permit is needed.

High Camp at Squaw Valley Varying distances: easy/moderate.  The trailhead is located at High Camp in Squaw Valley.
Five Lakes 5 miles: moderate.  The trailhead can be entered from Barker Pass or Five Lakes.
Glacier Meadow Loop 0.5 mile: easy.  The trailhead is the Tahoe National Forest Trailhead.
Marlette Lake 5 miles: moderate.  The trailhead is located at the Spooner Lake Trailhead in Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park.
Martis Creek/Tompkins Memorial Trail Varying distances: moderate.  The trailhead is located past Northstar at Martis Creek Wildlife Area sign.
Meeks Bay Trail Varying distances: moderate.  The trailhead is located at the Meeks Bay Resort.  A wilderness permit is needed.
Mt Rose 6 miles: strenuous.  The trailhead is located one mile from the southern summit of Incline Village.
Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort Scenic Gondola and Chairlift Rides Varying distances and skill levels.  The trailhead starts in the Village, where you can take a chairlift to the mid-level or summit of the mountain.
Page Meadows Varying distances: easy.  The trailhead is located on Forest Service Road off Pineland Dr from Hwy 89.
Prey Meadow/Skunk Harbor 1.5 miles: easy.  The trailhead is located approximately two miles north of Hwy 50 from Hwy 28.
Rubicon Trail Varying distances: moderate.  The trailhead is located in the DL Bliss State Park.
Shirley Canyon 4 miles: moderate.  The trailhead is located on Squaw Peak Road off Squaw Valley parking.
Stateline Lookout 0.5 mile: easy.  The trailhead is located off Forest Service Road 1601, past Tahoe Biltmore Casino.
Sugar Pine Point State Park Varying distances: easy/strenuous.  The trailhead is located in the Sugar Pine Point State Park.  Parking fees are collected.
Tahoe Rim Trail Varying distances and skill levels.  There are a total of five trailheads to the Tahoe Rim Trail.  All of these are located around the summit of Tahoe Rim.
Vikingsholm Castle 1 mile: easy.  The trailhead is at Viking Castle.
Western States Trail 10 miles: strenuous.  The Powderhorn trailhead is located at the end of Barker Pass.
